Nursery in progress....

Here are some pics of my growing baby bump. The first one is of me taken just a few nights ago at 26 weeks. The second one is me and a friend at her baby shower taken several weeks ago. He has grown alot in just 3 weeks!

Dave and I decided to do a video clip giving a little "tour" of how our nursery is progressing. However, after spending hours trying to download it in emails and on this blog, we gave up, so I posted some pics.

I decided I didn't really want a "theme" for the nursery so a couple of weeks ago I went with my mom and dad to USA Baby in Franklin and found the perfect bedding. Once we bought that it was just a matter of deciding what color we were going to paint the walls. We decided on a green with thick stripes on the bottom of the chair rail in two tones of green. So a few weekends ago, the Cherry's came in town and Dave and his dad went to work. It turned out perfect! Thanks so much Mr. Cherry for coming down to help!

Our Sunday school teachers and friends, Rob and Robyn Ellis, were so generous in letting us borrow their old baby furniture, we are SO grateful! We went and picked it up the crib, dresser with hutch, changing table, matress, and cradle. It looks so good in the room! I spent the rest of the day putting on the bedding and washing all the baby clothes I already have (in baby detergent which I knew nothing about) and folding them and putting them away in our new furntiure. I couldn't be more happy with how it all turned out. Now I'm looking forward to the rest of the decorating process which is looking for things to hang on walls, pictures frames, lamps, etc. I'm also so excited about my baby showers coming up as well!

Dave and I still haven't decided on a name....hopefully I can post about that next time.....
