Lake Trip

I know you aren't suppossed to let babies sleep in the bed with you, but one afternoon I couldn't resist putting him in the bed with me and we took a nap together-it was SO nice!

This is Colt on the beach at the Lake with his beach hat on. He looked so cute. I bought him 2 bathing suits as well and I was so excited for him to get to wear them. Unfortunately, they were too big for him-they looked like he was wearing a skirt and they hung past his feet when I put them on him. We are going to the beach in a few weeks with the Cherry's so hopefully by then he will be able to wear them.

This is Colt wrapped up in his giraffe towel after his bath. He's starting to like bath time a little better now.

WOW-I can't believe Colt is already a month old as of this last Tuesday-time sure does fly. Last week we went to the Lake and it was SO nice to get away for a little while. I was really worried about how Colt would do-but he did great! Took him to the doctor this past Tuesday and he now weighs right at 10 lbs!!!!! I was shocked! The doctor said he is a little under what he should weigh, so we have to go back in two weeks for her to check him. He also has been spitting up pretty bad and has been having signs of reflux so she gave me some medicine to start giving him and it has helped alot.

Everything else is going really well....keep Dave in your prayers. There is an opening for a branch manager position in Brentwood that he will be applying for. The position is a very popular position and alot of people in Williamson County are putting in for it. His boss seems to think he has a good shot at getting it, so we will see.
